About the event

Wuro Hausa is one of the most densely populated areas in Yola town, with about 40 thousand residents. Rapid urbanisation and increased human activity has accelerated deforestation in the community, hence the need for longterm comprehensive approach to the issue. This project has been conceievd in collaboration with students at the American University of Nigeria(AUN), and memebrs of the community at Wuro Hausa. The project aims to contribute to the sustainable development of Adamawa State throgh afforestation and sensitisation of the public on the dangers of deforestation.
